Country Airbnb.

We were tasked with taking a dated farm cottage and giving it a makeover to enable it to be marketed as a luxury country Airbnb retreat. Our starting point was to paint the exterior in a striking black which would provide a stark contrast with the surrounding green countryside. We then used an earthy colour palette for the interiors taking inspiration from the colours of nature outside the large picture windows. As we were working on a shoestring budget, we furnished the property predominantly with pieces of furniture found on the property and refurbished and vintage items sourced through local antique shops. We combined these with a collection of vintage artwork which we grouped together for maximum impact, an eclectic mix of accessories and beautiful linen bedlinen, cushions and throws to provide softness and texture. Finally, we worked with the owners to develop their social media presence and website to market the property to its best advantage.
