Master bedroom.

Having worked with these Clients for a number of years, we were briefed to refurbish the master bedroom within their Sydney harbourside federation property. Working with a revised layout to incorporate an ensuite bathroom within the existing footprint of the room, this room was given a complete overhaul. Our starting point for the colour scheme was the beautiful bushland and water views which can be seen from every angle of the room. To give depth and texture to the room and to create a cocooning effect, the room was fully wallpapered in a grasscloth weave paper. From there, we custom made the bedhead and base to the exact height to capture the views whilst reclining in bed along with a cabinet for the end of the bed to house the TV/AV equipment. The cabinet mechanism allows for the TV to be raised and lowered via remote control so that the view is unobstructed when not in use. The final touches to the space were new bedside cabinets, textured linens, custom made cushions and lamps with softy pleated lampshades all to work alongside the Client’s existing pieces of antique furniture.
